Mens Accessories – Pre Fall

Nothing better than a lazy day spent browsing fashion, grooming and interior blogs I love, clothes I desperately want to buy and chatting on the phone to my parents. I’m a huge fan of my music too, Annie Mac on Radio 1 on Friday nights and Alan Titschmarsh on Classic FM on Saturday mornings. I’ll let you scoop your jaw off your desk now at my dramatic change in music.

However, I don’t blog about music, even though I love it. I blog about beauty, grooming and slowly slowly, more fashion and accessories. I’m super new to blogging about fashion but I am LOVING it. Many people didn’t know I studied fashion at university and then fell into beauty and blogging. I guess fashion is my background. Plus, living in London and travelling around Europe means my style and my fashion eye are influenced by so many factors outside of the high street.

I really believe that if you invest in your accessories a whole look at appear more premium. In the last year I’ve slowly tried to move away from all black everything and started gradually injecting more colour into my wardrobe. And that doesn’t stop at my mens accessories. This iPad mini leather case from Aspinal throws a whole look in another direction with it’s electric blue. I’m currently looking at a last minute trip with my friend Tamar to Portugal, hence me needing my passport for flight details (case is from Aspinal).

The new Paul Smith Essence fragrance (to launch in September in Boots) comprises of yuzu, rosemary, clary sage, lavender, orange blossom, cedar, patchouli and musk – translated, it’s an absolute winner for a more sophisticated gent. It’s rich, has good staying power and is one of the best mens fragrances I’ve smelt from Paul Smith in a long time.

I haven’t cooked in ages, it’s been so busy recently, I’ve barely been in one place for more than a few days and my other half is working such weird hours it seems pointless cooking big meals for just myself. But our busy schedules are going to calm down soon and I’m determined to have dinner parties as we move into Autumn! I work from Soho House a lot but I recently bought their Eat Nap Drink book for inspiration, I also bought my Mum one too – such a good gift!

Happy travelling, happy chillaxing, happy inspiring!
