Look 1 – Jumper & Trainers.
So as you know, featuring fashion on the blog is something very new to me. But you guys seem to be loving it! I was chatting to my friend and TV Presenter Antonia O’Brien the other week and she told me to do a 3 Ways To Wear story – well, I’m obviously all over it. Antonia and I will be at The Clothes Show in Birmingham first weekend in December (heads up).
This week I’m showing you 3 ways to wear this mens grey pair of cropped tweed trousers from Zara. A staple in the Autumn and now early winter months and a new addition to my wardrobe as I desperately try to do the ‘effortless smart casual’. I live in my skinny jeans and need to look elsewhere, I’m all about a seasonal rebrand.
First way to wear these trousers is with a pair of trainers and thick jersey jumper. I’m seeing this as my freelance Monday outfit, or good for Thursday / Friday / Saturday attire. London pub lunches, walks, city mooching.
Wonderfully though, one of my dear friends Tom Evans actually designed this All Saints jumper! I wore it one lunch and he came over, hugged me and whispered in my ear ‘that’s one of mine’ – how awesome is that. I’m so lucky to have amazingly talented fashion designer friends. Although, meeting them for lunch is tough because I always feel like the blogger frump! The zip detail pockets are ideal for keeping loose change, mints or indeed port keys in.
I’m a firm believer in keeping your mankles out if you’re doing a cropped trouser. With some daggy sock it just looks wrong.
Stay tuned, second instalment of this 3 ways to wear will be out later this week.
